April 6, 1988 - July 17, 2009
Casey was a 2006 graduate of Springfield High School in Pa. and a 21 year old senior at Fordham University in NYC when she died on July 17th after being struck by a van driven by a distracted driver in Ocean City, N.J. At the time of the accident, Casey was on her way to work at a summer job as a waitress on the Ocean City boardwalk. Casey was 3/4 of the way through the intersection when the accident occurred and in a crosswalk at an intersection governed by 4-way stop signs.
