Cappies Awards 06' : The Odd Couple swept the Cappies awards in 2006 and Casey accepted the award on behalf of the entire cast of The Odd Couple in which Casey performed as Gwendolyn Pidgeon. Casey's first involvement in high school theater was in the Laramie Project in 2004. Thereafter, she performed in all subsequent productions until her graduation. She was also lead critic from SHS for the the greater Philadelphia Regional Cappies (a high school theater review and writing program), was "Best Actress" for SHS in 2006, and was the secretary for STW. 11-05' The Odd Couple : Casey was Gwendolyn Pidgeon during her senior year in The Odd Couple which swept the Cappies awards in 2006.Casey was hilarious and had the audience in stitches! Kasey Borbidge:"I have known Casey for a very long time, but I fell in love with Case when we got cast as the two crazy drunken British sisters in The Odd Couple. We were always together, and everyone referred to us as the KC's. One of my favorite memories of Casey was our pre-show ritual. Before we could walk out of our dressing room we had to play "Defying Gravity" as loud as possible and Casey, Victoria Mayo, and me would sing it at the top of our lungs." Cappies 07' : Although Casey was no longer in high school and had just completed her freshman year of college, Mom included this group of photos in the high school theater section. Casey, Matt and Amber and a few of Casey's other high school theater friends atended the Cappies gala in 2007 to support Mr. Gildea, their theater friends stiil in high school who were nominated for awards, and to support the Cappies and high school theate in general.
