The Odd Couple swept the Cappies awards in 2006 and Casey accepted the award on behalf of the entire cast of The Odd Couple in which Casey performed as Gwendolyn Pidgeon.
Casey's first involvement in high school theater was in the Laramie Project in 2004. Thereafter, she performed in all subsequent productions until her graduation. She was also lead critic from SHS for the the greater Philadelphia Regional Cappies (a high school theater review and writing program), was "Best Actress" for SHS in 2006, and was the secretary for STW.
