Horses, Pets, Head Shots Galleries

Horses : Casey started riding before the age of 10 and began taking lessons at Greylyn Farm in Malvern with her friend and neighbor, Rachael Pacifico. She quickly fell in love with it and began competing in shows through the Chester County Horse Show Ass'n., initially using the Greylyn Farm horses. She then progressed to leasing her first horse, "Diamond", and then became the proud owner of "Mr. Handsome" at the age of 13. She continued to compete, but had less time to do so as she became so involved with her many high school activities. Casey agreed to the sale of Mr. Handsome when she was a college freshman since she knew that it was best for her horse that he be ridden regularly. Casey and her mom and dad took several riding vacations in Va., Casey's last one with mom during her spring break freshman year to Lantern Lane Farm. Casey last took riding lessons during the summer of 08' at Hidden Acres Farm, Ridley Creek State Park, Pa. She was attempting to see if she could fit some lessons in during the summer of 09' since riding was truly in her blood.

Pets : Casey was an animal lover, having everything from chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, lizards, fish, turtles and of course, cats and dogs while growing up. She was a big advocate of adoption and all of the household pets were strays and adoptees in need of a home. Even the chickens were left over from the local 4-H. The family German Shepards all came from German Shepard Rescue of Southeastern Pa, which included a beautiful tribute to Casey in their Summer 2009 Newsletter. While at college at Fordham University, Casey would get her “animal fix” and need to give back by volunteering at Animal Haven, a no-kill shelter in NYC. The first puppy that came into the shelter after Casey’s death was named “Casey” in her memory.

Head Shots : After graduating from high school Casey, went to a professional photographer in Phila. during the summer of 06' to have a set of head shots ready for the fall in the event she wanted to audition for any theatre productions in NY. She became too busy with everything else to ever audition! We are thrilled to have the photos though!
